Testimony of Favors Received Through the Intercession of Paul M. Murphy, MJ

I’m writing to give thanks to Paul Murphy, Servant of God, for his intercession. My dear friend, John, 86, had 2 carotid artery surgeries on the same day, March 7. He was taken back for the second surgery as blood was pooling in his neck. It was touch and go. During surgery, his heart became erratic. When he recovered well enough he was released. The next month, April, he had a heart attack, and was rushed to Emergency. It was at that time that i received my copy of the Miles Jesu [monthly newsletter]. I always go to the intercessory page first. I began, along with John, to pray for Paul’s intercession. John’s recovery was quite rapid. He’s an artist, was also an architectural designer by profession. We were struck by the co-incidence that Paul had been an architect! We prayed daily in our own words, and added the 3 Ave’s. John had been using a wheelchair due to an inoperable bad hip for a few months. He also has myodysplasia, a blood disorder. When he returned from the hospital after only 4 days, he began using his walker again, and hasn’t needed the wheelchair since! His next blood disorder appointment showed a lack of the anemia he’d been plagued with since the carotid surgery. In fact, the doctor couldn’t believe how improved it was! He continues to paint, has returned to his routines, and does most things on his own. He can also go out more. We attribute this to Paul’s intercession.

I had promised to read his biography… so the check for the book and an offering for his Cause. Please send prayer leaflets and any information on his life that you can. I’ll distribute them. We turn to this wonderful young model of holiness of life in his total self-giving to Jesus Christ, and to others. I’ll continue to send a donation for the materials, and his Cause.
