Those Who Knew Paul
Testimony by Geraldine E.
Paul Murphy was a young man of sterling character.
His integrity was rooted in his Catholic faith and was manifested by his cheerful love of the truth, willingness to lend a helping hand, and patient endurance of suffering.
These impressions remain with me very vividly as i think back to the three occasions when our paths crossed: In Illinois, in Arizona, and in New York. Paul had found in Miles Jesu a noble cause to serve Christ in His Church.
In health, he was exemplary in the generosity, cheerfulness and reliability of his vocational calling. These were channels.
Sickness revealed the wellsprings of his spirit: the union of his heart with Christ and devotion to the Immaculate Mother of God. Great suffering frequently precedes great grace. May Paul have life everlasting in the kingdom of heaven.
